Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice Care Job Specialty: Hospice RN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10-hour night shifts from 8 PM to 6 AM, 4 days in a row with weekly rotation Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years, with at least 1 year in hospice care License: WV license required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) by AHA Must-Have: Hospice experience Job Description: - Provide hospice care to terminally ill patients in their homes or nursing facilities. - Regular visits around 5-6 patients per 8-hour day. - Manage care for patients with end-stage diseases such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, and dementia. - Cover an area across multiple counties. - Utilize the EPIC system for charting. - No weekend or holiday requirements. - Collaborate with another RN to ensure coverage and support. Additional Information: - Orientation will be specific to EPIC and alongside another RN. - Uniform requirement: Royal Blue scrubs.
