Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 - 19:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required for submission License: CA RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days of hire), TNCC (within 180 days of hire), NIHSS (within 90 days of hire) Must-Have: Epic experience preferred Job Description: - Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting. - Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area. - Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors. - Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family or support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications. - Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience. - Orientation includes 16 hours of non-billable time. - Shift requirement includes working every other Saturday and Sunday, with holiday shifts as needed. - Modules completed during orientation, average 1-5 hours. Hours exceeding the initial 16 hours are billable.
