Weekly Pay Range - $2292 To $2546 Job Title: Level 2 Registered Nurse - ICU Stepdown Job Specialty: Med/Surg RN Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Rotating Schedule (Days/Evenings/Nights) - Includes Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge Responsibilities as per Unit Needs Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Two (2) years experience required License: RN License (only specific state licenses accepted) Certifications: - BLS (American Heart Association only) - ACLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience, Telemetry experience Job Description: - Provide competent care based on established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager. - Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. - Conduct Q1 neuro checks. - Manage EVDs, lumbar drains, and sub-dural drains. - Administer and manage 3% NS and Cardene drips. - Monitor and maintain arterial lines. - Care for patients post-carotid endarterectomy and after aneurysm coil/clips procedures. - Assist with DBS (Deep Brain Stimulator) Insertions. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and an evidence-based approach to patient care. Stepdown experience is essential for this position.
