- Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced and qualified ICU RN for an immediate and urgent need.
- Job Requirements
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- COVID Vaccine Required
- Schedule Information
- 12 hour shifts, 0600 - 1800; 1800 - 0600
- Weekends would be rare
- Holidays would be rare
- No call or standby requirement
- Float to MedSurg if the ICU is closed
- Unit Specific Information
- Evening/night shift, 3x12s
- Additional Details
- # of beds: 3-Beds
- Ratios: 1 RN to 2-3 patients
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Afib-RVR, DKA, Alcohol withdrawal, Covid pneumonia
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Titrate drips, cardiac monitoring, management of respiratory support systems
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: cardizem and insulin
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes
- Are there nurse aids on this unit/Ratios: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No
- RT in ICU 24/7: No
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc): Available
- Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips?: Yes, RN's read their own strips
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
- Unit/Department specific orientation: varies by patient population
