WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a CCU Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Albany, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2700/week.

Job Function:

• Day/Night Shift
• 3x12 7am-7:30pm, 7pm-7:30am
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse
• Educates patients on surgical procedures ƒ Records patients' medical information and vital signs
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
• 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
