- Effective Immediately, New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required with all nursing submissions.
- Please check the job posting requirements for the 14 panel drug screen and ensure your agency can run this ENTIRE panel before you upload your traveler to this need.
- As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of the following groups for onboarding and clearance: Welle (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI.
- Job Requirements
- 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
- 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience
- 2+ years Post Partum experience
- Must be able to care for laboring mothers
- Mother/Baby experience
- Ability to read & interpret EFM
- Travel experience encouraged
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
- Schedule Information
- Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload.
- RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED
- NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
- Unit Specific Information
- The Joyce Stock Snuggery at Glens Falls Hospital is the area's leading family-focused birthing center.
- Unit Details: # of Beds: 20 Snuggery: Level 1, Patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month
- Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
- Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
- A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
- Additional Details
- Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
- Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process.
- Travelers from specific counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls
