Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 06:30 PM; Weekend work required every other weekend. Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours weekly Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nursing License Certifications: NRP, Stable, AWOHN Intermediate or Advance, ACLS Must-Have: Labor experience, postpartum care, well-baby care, stabilization of critical newborns for transfers. Job Description: - Work in a state-of-the-art hospital featuring private beds and a dedicated labor, delivery, and postpartum unit. - Provide care and monitoring during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods. - Operate and manage equipment such as IV pumps, epidural pumps, fetal monitoring equipment, fetal dopplers, and syringe pumps. - Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including neonatal stabilization for transfer when required. - Collaborate within a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. - Adapt to varying patient-to-nurse ratios based on patient acuity. - Maintain accurate electronic health records using Med Host and Centricity systems. - Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and strong teamwork capabilities. We seek a team player with a flexible schedule and experience in Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum care. Dress code is black scrubs.
