Job Duties:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education, and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.

Job Accountabilities:Assessment and Planning of Patient Care:

• Conduct comprehensive patient and family assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure a patient-centric care plan.
• Streamline patient workflow and improve outcomes.
• Communicate the plan of care effectively across shifts and departments.

Provision of Patient Care:

• Deliver competent, compassionate, and cost-effective care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Delegate tasks effectively based on team members' capabilities.
• Communicate treatments and activities clearly to patients and families.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and protect health information.
• Stay current with advancements and best practices in acute care.

Evaluation of Patient Care:

• Monitor interventions, assess therapies, and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide ongoing education to patients and families.
• Reassess and document patient responses to care plans.
• Report safety or compliance concerns and participate in safety events.
• Develop and document teaching and transition plans with patient/family involvement.
• Mentor and orient newly hired and student staff as needed.
