- General job duties and types of procedures required: Medical and Surgical Patients, Computer skills
- Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: Computerized charting and Medication administration pyxis machine for medication pull
- Required skills and minimum years of experience: 1 year medical surgical Skill set
- Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 25
- Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 1:4-5
- Dress Code: Scrubs
- Unit/department specific training and orientation program: 3-5 shifts of Training and then onto own assignment
- Job Requirements
- 1 year of Medical Surgical experience
- BLS - AHA
- ACLS - AHA
- Willing to work every other weekend
- Ability to interpret telemetry (required)
- Schedule Information
- 12 and 8 hour shifts - will not work alone and would be required to work every other weekend
