- MedSurg 5S nursing position at St Josephs Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.
- Common diagnoses include ER overflow/holding, Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, heart failure, vascular, pulmonary, diabetes, failure to thrive.
- Nurse Patient Ratios: 4-5 to 1.
- Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience required with at least 1 previous travel assignment preferred.
- Very strong Med/Surg skills; telemetry experience is a plus.
- Schedule Information
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule period, may not be consecutive.
- Travelers can self-schedule but may not get the exact schedule they request.
- Holiday requirements apply.
- Unit Specific Information
- Navy scrubs required.
- One day computer skills orientation with basic knowledge assessment test, followed by two shifts in orientation with preceptor.
- Additional Details
- BLS required; 3/3 start date.
- 100 mile radius rule applies.
