Med Surg Registered Nurse – Night Shift

Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)Location: Osage Beach, MOShift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMGuaranteed Hours: 36 per week

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a night shift position at an acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Active RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Experience with Meditech charting system is preferred

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vitals, progress, and responses to treatments using the Meditech charting system.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory

• Active RN License (Willing to wait for submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Meditech or similar EMR systems (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-acuity setting
