Position Summary:Our Client is seeking an RN Med/Surg. A Registered Nurse (RN) in Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical) provides care for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions or surgical needs. They assess, monitor, and manage patient care, administer medications, assist with treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal recovery. The role involves frequent patient interaction, focusing on both physical and emotional support, and it requires critical thinking and adaptability, as Med/Surg units often handle a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms via telemetry.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assessing patient conditions and responding to emergencies.
• Educating patients on heart health and post-treatment care.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Documenting patient progress and any changes in condition.

Required Qualifications:Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as an RN in Missouri State/Compact State.

Certifications Required:ACLS, BLS REQUIRED
