Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: MS/Tele Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers accepted License: Active MD or Compact License at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Must-Have: - CPI Certification - an online version will suffice. - Two satisfactory professional references from recent employers (1 supervisor/manager and 1 charge RN). - Must be comfortable floating within the specialty and to lower acuity as needed. Job Description: - MS/Tele RN for night shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend required. - Holidays required as scheduled. - Compliance document deadline is 5 days prior to the start. - Travelers are required to complete labs within 72 hours of signing their contract. - Request for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of initial submission and cannot be changed once offered. - Return Traveler Policy: Must be away from the system for at least 6 months. - Return Staff Policy: Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as a traveler. - Travelers are prioritized for floating within the hospital. - Scheduling restrictions and block schedules are not guaranteed, and requests cannot be made, although accommodations will be attempted. - Local candidates must live over 50 miles from the hospital. - Flu Vaccine required; no exemptions allowed.
