Job Description :

Position / Specialty: Medical Surgical RN
Shift: 3x12 Nights (1800-0630)
Avg. Daily Census: 35
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required
First-timers accepted: No
Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed per department needs
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius
Must have active IL license or be in application process with ETA to apply
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

Med/Surg experience required
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management
Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure
Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA
Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Tracheostomy Management
Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
Cerner experience required

Physical within a year of start
Fit test required
2-Step PPD, TSPOT, or Qgold within a year of start
Required for all candidates regardless of TB result
2 MMR Vaccines, Positive Titer, or Signed Declination
Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
2 Varicella Vaccines, Positive Titer, or Signed Declination
9-Panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
Flu Vaccine or approved Medical/Religious Exemption required October 1 – April 1
Background Check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
Required within 30 days prior to start
Initial degree verified - except for Midlevel Practitioners will verify highest degree
