  • Clinical Nurse position in the 6W Medicine Unit at Mount Sinai St. Luke's
  • Provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Educates patients and caregivers about their plan of care
  • Implements quality improvement projects and evidence-based practices
    Job Requirements
  • NYS RN License
  • BLS certification
  • 2 years of Medical Unit experience
  • Minimum 2 years RN experience
  • 1 year travel experience for Travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
  • EPIC experience highly preferred
    Schedule Information
  • 3x12 Schedule with weekends required
    Unit Specific Information
  • Avg Unit Census = 22
  • 29 Beds in Unit
  • Staffing Guidelines 1:6
    Additional Details
  • Charge nurse duties as assigned
  • Coordinates with Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Manager
  • Documents in compliance with hospital, regulatory and legal requirements
