Certification Details Require valid NYS RN License. BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary. Job Details The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care. Applies nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. Incorporates the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Applying the nursing process based upon theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards. Job Requirements NYS RN License. BLS, ACLS certifications. Minimum 2 years RN experience. 2 years of med/surg experience. 1 year travel experience for Travel positions, not required for Per Diem positions. EPIC experience highly preferred. Schedule Information 3x12 Schedule with weekends & holidays required. Unit Specific Information Unit Census 30-32. 35 Beds in Unit. Staffing Guidelines: 1 nurse to 6 patients. Additional Details Performs charge nurse duties as assigned. Coordinates with the Clinical Coordinator/Clinical Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager/Nursing Shift Manager to ensure supplies are appropriately utilized. Demonstrates patient focused and cost efficient approaches. Documents in an accurate and thorough manner.
