- Job Details
- General Job Duties: Functions as a member of the Patient Care Team to provide professional nursing care services to patients admitted, transferred, and discharged from OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
- Equipment utilized: Epic electronic medical record.
- Required skills: General medical Level of Care experience preferred, 2 years Med/surg experience.
- Job Requirements
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse required (RN IL license).
- BLS (American Heart) certification required.
- Schedule Information
- No Call.
- Every other weekend (Saturday / Sunday on Day Shift and either Friday / Saturday or Saturday / Sunday on night shift).
- Every other Holiday (specific holidays listed).
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit is currently a 13 Bed unit, with plans to expand to an additional 10 beds.
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5; 25/7.
- Dress Code: No childish scrub characters, as we are an adult unit.
