Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery. You will work closely with the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs. Post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines.***Epic experience REQUIRED***Unit Specifics:Number of Beds: 22 semi-private roomsUnit staffing description- RN's, PCA's, ASA's, NP's, Nurse cliniciansType of equipment: wound vacs, traction, iV pumps, chest tubes, NG, trach collars, feeding pumps, , suction, medical air, O2, mini infusers, PCA pumpsDocumentation system: Sorian, MAK (medications), HEV (bed mgmt.), Pyxis, VoceraScheduling requirements: All shiftsFloating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal float team that assists in filling holesPatient Experience requirements: Post surgical Med/ Surg,Hospital Specifics-Certifications: Academic Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center (adult); Children's Hospital within a hospitalRequested Skill Set:Post-surgical setting caring for patients that have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery.
