- Job Details
- Variable Shift -- 40 hrs/wk--mostly nights, some evenings
- Minimum Experience: 1 year; Does not have to have LTC experience, but emphasize that it is LTC facility
- Will accept a first-time traveler
- Medication pass on nights is minimal. Most residents do not take meds after 22:00.
- One blood sugar check for diabetic patients, currently scheduled for the morning
- Most residents are NOT full codes. There are protocols in place to follow if a code situation should arise.
- Job Requirements
- BLS- MUST be through AHA
- Experience with the above patient types
- Schedule Information
- Shift times: 8's -0600 to 1430, 1400 to 2230, and 2200 to 0630.
- 12's - 0600 to 1830 and 1800 to 0630
- Schedule is approved through DON
- Time-off: 7 days okay to approve, DON approval required for additional days and holidays.
- Will work 1-2 holidays per contract
- Overtime available but not required
- Unit Specific Information
- CNA: 1:10-12 Days
- 3 CNA at night
- RN: 1:20-25 Days—2 nurses (RNs or RN&LPN)
- 1 nurse at night- 2 nurses during the day, practice is the same for LPN as RN
