Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Nursing - Registered Nurse Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of one year of acute care experience within the past two years. Six months of recent experience in an Emergency or Critical Care setting is required. License: Current unencumbered California RN License Certifications: Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS. BLS must be from the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Job Description: - Report to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer and effectively collaborate with the Nurse House Supervisor. - Implement the nursing process independently to provide safe and effective patient care across various hospital nursing departments. - Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients ranging from 0 to 120 years old. - Provide break relief and supplemental staffing support to RNs in the Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments. - Be flexible to provide nursing support in any department for which training and competency are determined. - Maintain proof of competency to ensure performance meets the expected level of patient care. - Understand the defined weekly work cycle and adhere to it while fulfilling all responsibilities. - Note that finding housing can be challenging, with temporary options available for initial accommodation until permanent housing is secured.
