  • Job Description: Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care facility located in Sylva, NC, specializing in various service lines including Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Med-Surg.
  • Position Information: RN in Med-Surg with 1 opening, shift from 7p-7a, and a minimum of 36 guaranteed hours per week.

    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 7p-7a
  • Weekend Hours: Every other weekend or a minimum of three weekends in a 6-week schedule
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

  • Number of Beds: 27
  • Patient Ratios: 5:1 but could change to 6:1 soon
  • Equipment: Tele monitoring, Bladder scans, SCDs, CPAP/BiPAP, Baxter IV pumps, Hoyer lift, PCAs, Doppler, EKG
  • EHR: Paragon
    Additional Details
  • Unit Profile: Med-Surg (2N)
  • Patient Population: Geriatric, adult
  • Common Diagnosis/Treatment: GI bleeds, chest pain r/o, bowel resections, stroke, CHF/COPD exacerbations, respiratory failure, UTIs, post-operative total joint
