- NIH Stroke Certification
- Job Details
- Position / Specialty: MS/Tele RN
- Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1.
- PCT's on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG's and any sort of activity of daily living
- In-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws; nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines
- Years of experience REQ: 1
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: EOW
- Certs REQ: BLS
- Guaranteed Hours: 48
- Special Requirements: Tele required.
- Patient Diagnosis: cardiovascular, wounds
- Epic Preferred
- Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required within 1 year of contract start date
- Schedule Information
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Open to accommodating block schedule, but not guaranteed
- RTO Restrictions: No more than 1 week RTO in a contract
- No holiday RTO
- Unit Specific Information
- Float to MS, ICU, ED; will not practice outside of scope
- Additional Details
- AHA only for certifications
- Pending License not accepted
- Locals not accepted (50 miles)
- Criminal Background Check required within 3 months of start date
