- A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Neuro ICU/Intensive Care Unit RN's for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have two years of Neuro ICU experience in a large level one Trauma facility. To learn more about this opportunity contact Medical Solutions.
- Job Requirements
- Must have two years of Neuro ICU experience in a large level one Trauma facility
- Must hold an active ACLS & BLS
- Must have an active AZ license or compact
- **MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXP***
- **MUST HAVE EVD EXPERIENCE**
- Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
- No first time travelers
- Must have strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience
- Schedule Information
- 12hr / 7-7. May be placed on Standby for a scheduled shift
- Day 1 PASS/FAIL SIMs Lab requirements
- 2 weekends per 4 weeks
- 2 out of 3 major holidays
- Unit Specific Information
- Charge Nurse does not take patients
- Floating: Required to float between all ICU floors, and all Tele Units
- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Any patient that would qualify for critical care with a neuro diagnosis
- Hospital does cranis, brain tumor removal and ablations, brain biopsies, complicated spine surgeries and scoliosis repair

- If clinical recommends, AUTO OFFER
- SIMs lab is pass/fail
- Travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills
- In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care
