Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend required Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: - Previous experience in neonatal nursing is required - Preferred: 2 years of neonatal nursing experience License: - Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: - BLS, STABLE, and NRP certifications Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing Job Description: - Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care - Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family - Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team - Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
