• Patient Care: Perform assessments, prioritize care, and implement population-appropriate interventions, including bedside testing and education.
• Education & Planning: Address patient/family readiness to learn and collaborate on care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Leadership: Engage in professional development, promote cost-effective care, and participate in unit goals and performance improvement.
• Evaluation & Communication: Identify and revise patient outcomes, ensure continuity of care, and support discharge planning.
• Research & Standards: Stay informed on relevant studies, policies, and procedures to enhance practice.
