Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks, with possible extension Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on weekdays and every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; travel experience not required License: Current RN license, WV or Compact; pending license acceptable Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS chemo/bio certification preferred Must-Have: - Ability to start IVs - 1.5-2 years of experience - Perm address greater than 100 miles from the facility Job Description: - Work in the 5N Oncology unit with an emphasis on chemotherapy. - Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6. - Complete both 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, including every other weekend. - Blocks scheduling possible; discussion required during the interview. - Compliance with facility attendance standards: maximum of 2-3 call-offs per contract. - Prepare for orientation involving 16 hours of non-billable training and module completion. - Flu vaccine required unless a medical exemption is provided. - Submit a complete application packet, including references and certifications.
