Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Clinic/Infusion Therapy/Oncology - Chemo CertifiedJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekExperience: Minimum of 2 years current experience in outpatient oncology and infusionLicense: New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate Certifications: - Chemotherapy Certified (ONS)- Oncology Certified RN (OCN)- IV Certification (highly preferred)- EPIC and Cerner Experience- BLS- ACLSMust-Have:- Peripheral IV insertion experience- Port/Fistula/Catheter experience- Experience with self-administration medication teaching- Ability to lift up to 50 lbsJob Description:• Provide dedicated patient care excellence in an outpatient setting for frequent medication infusions.• Perform specialized intravenous therapy.• Conduct COVID-19 vaccinations as encouraged, not mandatory.• Maintain and manage central venous access devices and PICC line placements.• Administer and monitor various infusion therapies including IV antibiotics, antifungal, steroids, blood transfusions, IVIG, hydration, and more.• Provide care and maintenance for infusion pumps and conduct therapeutic phlebotomies.• Teach patients self-administration for medications like Humira, Lovenox, and others.• Utilize mandatory de-escalation training from approved providers for onboarding and clearance.• Ensure familiarity with EPIC for submission processes to prevent delays.• Handle specialty medications for conditions such as Crohn's Disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Anemia, and others.• Adhere to personal presentation standards wearing scrubs of any color, excluding designs or cartoons, and avoid hoodies.• Ensure compliance with facility cancellation policies with prior notice requirements.Note: Applicants from certain counties in New York will not be considered.
