- What Certifications does this position require? BLS.
- Job Details
- A facility near New York City is in need of an OR RN to work a 13 week travel assignment.
- The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts.
- Job Requirements
- BLS, COVID Vaccine Required.
- BSN REQUIRED.
- CALL REQUIRED.
- Schedule Information
- Rotation would be for RNs and STs in the Main OR-11P-7A Monday through Sunday.
- It will be every other week or every 3rd week.
- Unit Specific Information
- What are the areas of surgery experience that a traveler will need for your unit? General, Ortho, Neuro/spine, Vascular, Thoracic, Bariatric, Robotics, Urology, GYN/Oncology Neuro for tumor.
- If ortho experience required...Do you need totals (hip and knee) experience? Yes total hip & knee.
- If cardio OR opening, will the nurse or tech work on any other types of cases? No Cardio at this time.
- Does the traveler need to scrub and circulate (RN only)? Scrub not a requirement.
- Additional Details
- Minimum of $1.25 per hour for parking.
- COVID & FLU VACCINES REQUIRED.
- How many suites does your OR have? 12 Operating Rooms & 1 Cysto Suite.
- How many cases per day/per room? 50 – 60.
