A traveler friendly facility in Glens Falls, NY is looking for a PACU RN. Minimum 2 years experience with PACU. BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Must have experience in Procedural Sedation. Experience in AM Admission/blocks & recovery. MUST have EPIC experience. De-escalation required. Travel experience preferred. NO WEEKENDS EXCEPT FOR CALL. Call Requirements are 2 shifts/month (Weekend NIGHT CALL 8p-8a). PREVIOUS COUNTY RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. THIS FACILITY WILL CONSIDER LOCAL CAREGIVERS (50 MILES OR LESS) AT A DISCOUNTED RATE. Charting: EPIC. - 8-10 bays per room - Nurse-patient ratio-floor 1, 1:2. Floor 2, 1:3 - Must have Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with valid New York State License License - Travel experience required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. -Unit requires De-Escalation training through Welle, CPI or PMC S.
