Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Three to four 10-hour shifts per week, with call (1-2 days call per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks) Guaranteed Hours: 30 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required Must-Have: - Access to a reliable source of transportation - Ability to cover holiday shifts Job Description: - Serve as a clinically competent Registered Nurse within the Surgical Services Department. - Maintain proficiency in planning, organizing, directing, executing, and evaluating all aspects of patient care during the pre-operative and post-operative phases of surgical experience. - Monitor physiological patient responses in all phases of pre and post-operative care. - Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice following professional practice standards and guidelines, as well as relevant statutes, rules, and regulations. - Complete training, education, and orientation to new procedures and processes within the department and throughout the organization. - Ensure coverage during holiday periods as required.
