Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 12 months Shift: Night 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 3 years, Unit accepts first-time travelers License: GA or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Full compliance required to start on time, ability to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract Job Description: - Schedule Requirements: Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend - Call Requirements: None - Floating: Within facility - Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics, handling cases like Atrial Fibrillation, COPD, CHF, Pneumonia, Renal Failure, DKA, and Sepsis - Patient Ratio: 1:4 - Unit Systems: Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR - Major Holidays Requirement: If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. For two major holidays, work is expected on both. For three, expect to work two of them. Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. - Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time.
