Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Intermediate Care (IMC) Job Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 19:00-07:00 (No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute experience and travel experience required License: Current State License required Certifications: Required certifications must be up-to-date Must-Have: Travel experience, recent acute care experience Job Description: - This position is for a community hospital and regional referral center accredited by the Joint Commission, featuring 171 beds. - The hospital is a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level 3 Trauma Center. - Requires flexibility for shift preference—open to day or night shifts. - The facility offers 30 beds with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:3. - The types of patients include those with STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG post-operative day 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, and EXLIF. - The role may require floating to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, and handling Emergency Department holds if necessary. - Located in an area known for outdoor recreation, with beautiful mountain ranges and serene lake scenery, and proximity to major cities such as Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park. - Scrubs of any color are acceptable attire. - Candidates must demonstrate a fitting personality for the unit environment and meet all hiring profile requisites.
