- PCU RN position at Health Lakeside in Omaha, Nebraska.
- Specialty: PCU RN
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Department: PCU
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults, generally patients that arrive through the ER, Mixed Medical/Surgical along with cardiac and stroke patients.
- Job Requirements
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- State licensure in Nebraska required
- Schedule Information
- Shifts: 0630-1900, 1830-0700
- 6 week scheduling, done by unit schedulers
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirements: Will rotate with permanent staff
- Floating Requirements: Med/Surg and to all areas in the hospital, including ICU/ED for appropriate types of patient care
- Additional Details
- This is a high flow unit with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Looking for positive nurses willing to work with others as a team to overcome challenges.
- RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
