  • Job Summary: CVSD nursing position at Wheeling Hospital in West Virginia.
  • Common diagnoses include Bradycardia, A-fib, SVT, CHF, CAD, NSTEMI, PVD, PE, CVA/TIA, and post-operative care.
    Job Requirements
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience with Epicardial pacing and chest tubes is a must.
    Schedule Information
  • Position is night shift only or rotating day and night.
  • Self-scheduling is allowed via a scheduling committee.
  • Weekend requirements average to every other weekend.
  • Holiday rotation includes travel RNs.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Unit does self-scheduling via a scheduling committee.
  • Blocked scheduling is open for discussion.
  • IV therapy team does all IV sticks.
    Additional Details
  • Charge nurse takes full patient assignment.
  • Nursing supervisor available 24/7.
  • RT available hospital-wide 24/7.
