- Unit: Inpatient Rehab
- Number of Beds: 35
- Patient Ratios: 5-7:1
- Type of equipment: Vitals machine, Baxter IV pumps, SCD's, Bladder scanner
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Procedures performed on unit: Med administration to include IV's, PICC, PEG tube admin; Bladder scans, Trach care, Tube feeding, Foley cath, Bladder irrigation, Blood Administration
- Job Requirements
- Must have: Med/Surg or PCU experience
- BLS and VA License
- Preferred: Rehab experience
- Schedule Information
- Scheduling requirements: 12 hr shifts, every other weekend
- Floating policy: may be floated to other Med Surg depts.
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit staffing description: Techs per census, usually 2-4
- Patient Experience requirements: Rehab experience preferred
- Advanced skills needed: none
- Additional Details
- Dress Code: Navy blue or white solid scrubs
- Awards/Recognition: Tour of Easy Street -
- Opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to include Nursing, Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech therapy, Physiatrist and Physician Assistant, and Neuropsychologist to impact patient functional improvements and achieve patient goals for functional independence.
