Position Summary:Our Client is seeking a Telemetry RN. RN Telemetry (Registered Nurse Telemetry) involves monitoring and caring for patients who require constant observation of their heart rate, rhythm, and other vital signs. Nurses in telemetry units are trained to use specialized equipment to track patients' cardiovascular status, interpret data from telemetry devices, and respond to any changes in condition. They play a critical role in detecting and addressing potential issues, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with doctors for appropriate interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring: Continuously observing patients' vital signs, especially heart rate and rhythm, through telemetry equipment.
• Data Interpretation: Analyzing telemetry readings to identify any abnormal heart patterns or changes in condition.
• Patient Care: Administering medications, providing treatments, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Emergency Response: Responding quickly to changes in patients' conditions, such as arrhythmias or other cardiac events.
• Collaboration: Communicating with doctors and other healthcare professionals about patient status and necessary interventions.
• Patient Education: Educating patients and families about their condition and the use of telemetry monitoring.

Required Qualifications:Active, unrestricted certification/licensure as an RN in Texas State or Compact State.

Certifications Required:ACLS, BLS REQUIRED
