  • Charge experience required
  • Department: Med Tele RN
  • Common diagnosis: CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have EPIC experience
  • Preferred travel experience
  • Must have IL license in hand
  • Drivers License required for submission to be considered
  • Charge required for all shifts - 5p-530a
    Schedule Information
  • 12 hours shifts from 5-5
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other
  • Floating Requirements: Medical floors/step down to take tele level patients
    Unit Specific Information
  • Charge experience required
  • Common diagnosis: CHF, strokes, chest pain, Dm, PN, COPD, detox, underlying cardiac conditions. Cath lab recoveries.
    Additional Details
  • Facility requires clinical prescreen
  • If recommended, the hiring manager has 24-hours to accept/decline this candidate
  • They will not call for a 2nd phone interview
  • # Beds: 31
  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
  • Are RN's required to titrate drips: No
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Lasix, heparin, bumex, protonix, octreotide
  • Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: RNs read tele. They do have a centralized tele tech that helps monitor
  • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Team Lead during the day- does not take patients. Charge on nights/weekends/holidays. Charge takes patients
  • Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes. 1:10-12
  • RT/Equipment: Cpap/bipap intermittent only
  • Scrub Color: Caribbean colored scrubs
  • Unit/Department Specific Orientation: 1- 12 hour shift
  • Radius Rule: Any clinician with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility will be offered a rate of $7.00 less than the base rate of their position
