May float to Med-Surg. Additional Requirement: Must be able to read strips. Accepts 1st time travelers Avg Census: 36 Rooms/Beds 36 Ratios - 1:4 Every other weekend coverage required. No Call requirement. Scrubs: Royal Blue. Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics. Must be able to work in Telemetry setting. Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes. Interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias. Telemetry - on the unit monitoring. Telemetry - remote monitoring. Post Cardiac Angiogram. Post MI. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath. Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery. Blood Product Administration. Central line care/management. PICC line management. Starting IVs. Heparin Protocols. Manage Cardiac drips- no titration. Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration. Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient. Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac. External CPAP/BIPAP. High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC). Nasal Cannula. Non-invasive airway management. Oxygen face masks. Tracheostomy Management. RTO must be on the submittal. No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment. 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved. Please Note: Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract.
