Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - TelemetryLocation: Poughkeepsie, NYContract Duration: 13 WeeksShift: NightsQualifications:Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing or a similar critical care setting.Strong proficiency in cardiac monitoring, interpretation of telemetry readings, and ECG strip analysis.Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to changes in patient condition, with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.Proficient in administering medications and treatments as prescribed, including IVs and other invasive procedures.ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Ability to provide patient education regarding cardiovascular health, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, particularly during night shifts.
