- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Wound Care RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.
- Job Requirements
- Hold an active BLS certification.
- Hold an active ACLS certification.
- Hold an active California license.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts are 10 hours with varied start times between 7 am and 10 am.
- Weekend Requirement: can work Saturdays, but will not be scheduled on Sundays.
- Holidays: No.
- Unit Specific Information
- Floor specific orientation based off of experience.
- Additional Details
- Unit: Wound care
- # beds: Cover the entire hospital
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, and WOCN are required.
- Ostomy experience highly preferred.
- Ratios: 3 Wound Care Nurses scheduled each day with staggered start times (treat approximately 45-60 patients/day).
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Clinical Supervisor
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Patients that require wound care treatments.
- Additional Notes: In addition to MedSurg experience or other, must have at least 3 years of experience in Wound Care in the hospital setting.
