Minimum of 3 years in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound is required.High School diploma or equivalent, and successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound.Registration by The American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics required. Ideally, the candidate is certified in Fetal Echocardiography as well, but this is not required.BLS certification required.
