Compensation : $70 - $70 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : 137481 Travel Outpatient CT Tech - Brockport, New York, United States - 14420 Job Title: Travel Outpatient CT Technologist Shift: Day or night shifts - 36 hours (weekends rotating) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/12/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $70 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,509 JOB DESCRIPTION Outpatient treatment center. Facility provides a wide array of outpatient services in general acute care including emergency, imaging, ambulatory surgery, among others. Tech will be responsible for both Xray and CT scans to support outpatient and ED patient schedule, will be required to take call. Computed Tomography Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Generally speaking, a CT technologist should be in good health because maneuvering equipment and patients who are disabled may pose physical challenges. CT scanners emit radiation, which can be harmful for the technologist and patient if proper safety procedures are not followed. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience

• Minimum two years current CT Tech experience
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Previous Travel experience preferred
• Epic EMR two years of experience
• Injection experience preferred, however, medical facility can assist in certification.

License/Registration/Certification

• ARRT credentials for diagnostic imaging and NYS license. Also, must receive the enhanced NYS license for injection, on or before completion of introductory period. CPR (by the American Heart Association)
• Active unencumbered New York License
• ACLS/BLS - American Heart Association
• PALS - American Heart Association

Education and Training

• Associate Degree - Graduate of an Accredited School of radiology

Physical Requirements - Must be able to push, pull, bend, and ambulate without assistance.
