Travel Pharmacist in Arizona - Barton Healthcare Staffing : Job Details

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: Mid-November

Schedule: 9a - 6p or 8a - 5p shifts from Mondays - Fridays

Responsibilities:

• Review and process prescriptions

• Counsel patients on medication use and administration

• Verify medications using a Script Pro machine and electronic counter

• Consult with providers regarding medication orders and discrepancies

• Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred; newly licensed pharmacists will also be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited institution

• Certifications in BLS and flu vaccine administration required

• Arizona state pharmacy license required
