AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rad Tech in Keene, New Hampshire, 03431!About The Position**Job Title:** Technologist**Job Specialty:** Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray**Job Duration:** 13 Weeks**Shift:** Evenings, 12 hours**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting**License:** New Hampshire License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NH MIRT required; temporary license available)**Certifications:** BLS, ARRT**Must-Have:**- Proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portables, and OR C-arm- Experience with all age groups- Previous travel experience preferred- Own vehicle required due to lack of public transport**Job Description:**- Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of the specified area of the body requested by the physician.- Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.- Move radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions and adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.- Operate film processing equipment.- Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating rooms, emergency rooms, or at the patient's bedside.- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to the patient and staff.- Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.- Possess basic computer skills.- Adhere to dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs; closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or clogs; hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length; no dangling earrings.- Work one of either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day and the weekend after.- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified in advance. No more than 5 days of time off will be accepted.- Must complete de-escalation training as part of onboarding and clearance from specified groups (CPI, AVADE, or MOAB).**Please Note:** Local travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered.
