Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER (Emergency Room) Location: Silverdale, WA Start Date: December 2, 2024 Duration: 13-week assignment, Day Shift (36 hours per week) Pay Rate: $2,322 per weekJob Description: ATC Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room (ER) position in Silverdale, WA. This 13-week contract assignment offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced trauma setting. You will provide exceptional care to patients in critical conditions, including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, and other high-acuity cases. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of ER experience and be flexible to float within the Region III healthcare network when needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in the ER, including trauma and critical care cases.
• Float to other facilities within Region III, primarily to St. Michael Medical Center, but may also require visits to St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor, WA.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly, following established protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ER or Trauma Center setting.
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• Experience with a variety of common diagnoses, including cardiac conditions, stroke, sepsis, DKA, AMS, respiratory issues, abdominal pain, and mental health concerns.
• Travelers with 1 year of experience in a larger trauma center are also encouraged to apply.

Shifts & Scheduling:

• 36 hours per week, day shift.
• Flexibility to float to other locations within Region III as needed.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
• Holiday Requirement: Yes, depending on staffing needs.

Additional Details:

• Floating Rate: $20.00 per hour for floating to other facilities.
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any professional colors.

Hospital Information:

• Primary Facility: St. Michael Medical Center - Silverdale, WA
• Other Facilities: St. Anthony Hospital - Gig Harbor, WA
• Trauma Center: 56 beds, with additional hall beds bringing the total to 60-70 beds.
