Job Description & RequirementsShift: 8hrs Description:Description: Days 8hr40hr Days, 8a-4:30p , 1 weekend per month, E/O Holiday.Required Exp: 2 years + post MSW, MSW, Medical Social Work, Case Management, Brief Treatment, ICU, Critical Care Preferred Exp: Acute Care, Housing Experience, Substance Use Disorder, Grief and Bereavement , Cultural Responsiveness, Crisis InterventionRequired Certs: Licensed at the Masters Level with Masters in Social Work degree, BLSDept Details: Inpatient: Critical Care, Medical ICU Patients are referred for social work consults 15-20 patients per day # of beds: 30-40. Utilizing clinical social work techniques and theory, consults on, assesses, and intervenes with high-risk patients and their families regarding the impact/amelioration of emotional and social problems. Duties also include, but are not limited to, conducting psychosocial assessments, making a psychosocial diagnosis, planning and implementing effective treatments, evaluation, education, supervision, coaching and mentoring of the patient (client) and family members. The position consults with, collaborates and communicates with a wide range of social, governmental and legal agencies, courts, schools, clinics, other hospitals, physicians and other sources in the overall care of the patient.Must Have Qualifications Basic Life Support (BLS)
