AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Special Procedures Tech in Pikeville, Kentucky, 41501!About The Position**Job Title:** Tech - Cath Lab Charge Special Procedures**Job Specialty:** Cardiac Cath Lab**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Days; 4x12 Hours**Guaranteed Hours:** 48 per week**Experience:** 2 years required, 5 years preferred**License:** Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography program**Certifications:** ARRT, KY Radiation, BLS, EKG**Must-Have:** Knowledge in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs, basic computer skills, experience with EKG, cardiac electrophysiology, cath lab, budget, keyboarding, imaging, infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance**Job Description:**- Ensure delivery of quality services in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs.- Plan and implement the department's quality assurance program.- Supervise staff in the operation of imaging equipment and ensure efficient patient flow and quality services.- Oversee ongoing quality testing within the area with assigned personnel and vendors.- Implement and monitor radiation safety measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.- Prepare work schedules and assign duties to maintain patient flow and achieve production goals.- Help ensure the department operates within budget constraints.- Promote communication on inter-departmental and intra-departmental levels.- Supervise employees' performance, conduct, attendance, and adherence to policies.- Orient new employees and function as a preceptor.- Adhere to dress code and infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.- Demonstrate and promote an understanding and commitment to the organization's mission and values.- Maintain patient confidentiality and treat patients and families with respect and dignity.- Perform other related duties as assigned.Ideal candidates should possess thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
