Client:172 bed, Level II Trauma, Teaching Hospital. The only Trauma Center in Monterey County, as well as many other surrounding communities.Specialty Profile:Minimum of 1 year experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Will need to be able to step in and provide treatments in Inpatient and Outpatient setting.Requirements: Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of California and BLS issued through American Heart Association required.Shifts: Variable 8 hour day shift with some weekend coverage required.Charting: Meditech (Inpatient); Redoc (Outpatient)Dress code: Business casual if working in Outpatient setting. No jeans or clothes with hoods are permitted. Closed-toe shoes must be worn. May wear any color of professional scrubs if working on the Inpatient side. No other facility names or logos are permitted to be on scrubs.Orientation: Ability to start any day of the week. SLP will complete an orientation to the hospital, department and floor they will be working on. They are paired with a buddy to help orient and train for the first couple of days then when ready and cleared by manager they begin treating patients on their own.
