BR: The NYC DOE operates under 30 minute rates.

Start: ASAPEnd: End of school year

Hours per week: They operate under a fee for service model. Clinicians are not guaranteed hours per day. If a student does not show up to school they are not paid for that time however there is typically enough of a need to keep them working consistently. Most clinicians in the area are familiar with the practice.Location: The DOE has given their openings their openings by Main Schools – then below there are feeder schools such as Charters, Pre-k, etc. We will submit them with a Main School of their preference, and they may be in a neighboring satellite school.Certifications: The following items must be set over with the candidate:

SLP

• New York State Education Department license.

• Current NYSED registration as a Speech/Language Pathologist.

• NYSED certificate as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).

Clinical Fellowship (CF)

• Must be directly supervised by their CF NYSED licensed SLP holding the previously mentioned credentials

• Must hold initial Teacher of Students with Speech Language Disabilities certification and have approved application on file with New York State Education Department for their CF experience.
