Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologist Job Specialty: Sterile Processing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Schedule is 4-10's (8:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with rotating weekend call Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sterile processing License: High School diploma or equivalent Certifications: CSPDT (Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) required Must-Have: Rotating weekend/holiday call Job Description: - Clean, wrap, sterilize, and maintain the inventory of instruments and equipment. - Supply sterile equipment for surgery and other departments and associated clinics. - Ensure compliance with protocols for sterile processing. - Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the availability of necessary instruments and equipment. - Adhere to infection control policies and hospital procedures. - Remain on-call for weekends and holidays as required. Housing is available with newly remodeled studio apartments, including Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry facilities. No pets are allowed. Housing is offered to travelers during their assignment.
